HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC 15-eh3000 (794P4AV)

My Pavilion left hinge separated from the screen. The laptop is 1.5 years old roughly and I understand this is a design flaw known to HP. Several others have had this same problem. I really want to get this fixed ASAP as I am afraid the screen will crack making this a bigger issue. I am quite disappointed that this has happened with a relatively new laptop.

Considering all the comments I've been reading about hinge issues, telling me to go get it fixed isn't a solution, I can figure that out myself without "expert" advice. This is a design flaw.

I ended up repairing this myself. The hinges are way over tight which caused the initial damage. I was lucky that my screen didn't crack.

I've had a number of laptops overs the years and never experienced this type of issue. Unfortunately I will not buy HP again, nor be able to recommend HP products, as this felt like poor design and service.
