So, i'm having an issue with the USB ports only. Somehow when i plug in external devices like keyboard, wireless mouse, etc. The laptop doesn't pick in/detect the above mentioned devices. And for phone especially, it only charge the phone but it doesn't let me to transfer file or media (it act like a power bank or some sort of🤔, just charging the phone). The other ports are fine and working properly, only the USB ports (except the USB C, so the only workaround i've found for this problem is to attach a USB C Hub) that aren't working properly.

Please post your Model number or Product ID number for more info so we can see what type of ports you have. Could be a hardware problem or driver problem.

Well I can't find the Service Manual for that model. Typically, you will have one side of the laptop with a couple ports built into the motherboard, and for the other side uses a daughter card with inputs on it.

I don't know in-depth about this laptop, it was given to me for school purposes. It from my uncle, and he does mention that the USB-A ports doesn't work, only USB-C (for the workaround for now). I want to know if i can get the USB-A port to work, because it seems so when i attach my phone, it charges but no signs if it connected (both, from the laptop and my phone)
