I have a brand new Envy x360, model 15t-ew000. The left USB 3.0 port is not working. I have uninstalled the USB controller using Device Manager and rebooted, but with no change. It seems to provide power, but will not connect to any devices - USB drives, USB mouse, USB keyboard, etc. I cannot find any new Windows 11 drivers for it. I saw one other posting for the same problem, but the only reply indicated further investigation was being done and user would be contacted directly. I would really like to have this port available for wireless mouse and keyboard so I have another available for USB drive. Perhaps unrelated, HP product support claims the warranty has expired and will not allow me to dispute the warranty using the part number and serial number of the laptop. I can find no alternate method to dispute the warranty. I purchased this from shopping/hp.com less than a month ago. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that the USB port is not working, I am glad to assist you.
Update the Bios, chipset, and drivers using HP Support Assistant.

- HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also, ensure Windows is up to date.
- Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Thank you for the reply, Sandytechy20. Unfortunately, when I check for updates, I get the message "You're up to date with software & drivers." I have done Windows Update and am fully up to date on all Windows updates as well. So I am unable to accept the solution at this time.
