The left hand side hinge that connects the screen and keyboard up has broken. When I open and close the laptop the hinge is shifting and then seperating lower case from the upper case. The laptop performs well but the screen shifts about when in use due to this broken hinge. When closed it does not line up with the other side.

I have never experienced any issues with any of my laptops or tablets and as a result to this after my first warranty on this laptop finished i regretfully didn't renew this 😞 

Please help!

I have gone through your Post and I understand your concerns

 

Not to worry since the warranty recently expired I'm sure HP Support will look into it and get it serviced

I contacted hp early on saturday as the hours said they were working, so i left my number and have not heard anything back.
