HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg3000 (78G47AV)

The left hinge on my laptop is broken.  It stopped closing without the monitor back separating and then stopped opening without the screen frame from pulling away from the screen. It was never dropped and stays on the desktop when not in use or in a padded case.  Unfortunately, the warranty ran out.  I can see this is an issue many people have had.  I am hoping someone will be able to help.
