Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-r0000 (76T05AV)

I have Victus 16 notebook and my friend has Victus 15. One day I saw her lifting her laptop screen by just one hand. But when I tried to do that, the bottom lifted up with the screen at the same time. I have to hold the bottom first to lift my screen. Whats the point of the existing difference here? Could I change this situation by taking the laptop to any HP store?

"Lifting screen by one hand"

Did you mean to state opening the laptop with one hand?

If that is the case, the difference would be the amount of tension or "resistance" in the hinges.

The laptops are of different sizes and the hinges and enclosures are not the same, so the hinge opening tension  will also differ.

As long as yours opens smoothly and has some tension you shouldn't have to worry about the hinges breaking.
