Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

My screen is flickering and now light pink….is my laptop dying? It is a HP Pavilion Notebook, Intel I-5-5200U CPU @ 2.20 GHz, 12 GB RAM, currently has Windows 10. It’s definitely an older laptop I had since college (maybe 8-10 years old?)
