HP ENVY Notebook 13-ab0XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

Couple days ago I noticed my HP ENVY Notebook 13-ab0XX was not charging to 100%, it reached only 75%.

In addition the charging light, if I gently moved the adapter cable/plug, goes off.

Having seen a few similar issues reported, and the responses from HP, I updated the BIOS, ran a battery check (which shows

no problems) but no resolution.

I'm wondering if there's a fault suddenly developed in the charging port, perhaps a connection related problem?

Right now I'm wondering how this can be effectively fixed, or if the model I have definitely has the option of

charging the laptop via the USB-C port?

Any help or solutions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

You cannot charge the Notebook via the USB Type-C port

This does sound like a Hardware issue, a loose connection since if you move the Adapter Plug it goes off

I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options
