Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I popped the keys off to clean goop underneath.  I had no idea the hinge mechanism was so tiny and fragile.....

Single keys are just not a part that HP has for sale. In fact, on most models these days including yours the keyboard is "embedded" in the top cover so that, to fix any issue with the keyboard you must replace the top cover. It's a huge job requiring almost complete reassembly of the laptop. Sorry. Sometimes, on eBay you can find a vendor who offers single keys he or she is parting out, or they offer a keyboard which has been stripped from the top cover. Good luck.

Thank you for replying, that makes a lot of sense based on what I'm seeing with the broken keys.  I looked on EBay and there is a vendor that sells replacement keyboards/covers so I plan to take a crack at a full replacement.  Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
