A few weeks ago, I noticed an unusual sound coming from my HP Pavilion 15 ec2145ax laptop's fan. Upon inspection, I discovered that the CPU fan wasn't functioning properly. I've been trying to find a replacement fan, but unfortunately, the one listed on the HP PartSurfer website has been out of stock for quite some time now. Can anyone recommend a quality aftermarket fan for my specific model that's readily available online? I'm currently based in India. Alternatively, if anyone knows how I can purchase a genuine fan from a source other than HP PartSurfer since it's currently out of stock there, I would greatly appreciate the advice.

The HP part number for a replacement cooling fan for your HP Pavilion 15 ec2145ax (552W2PA) is L72702-001 or L77560-001.

 

You could try AliExpress to order this part.  Here is the US link for an L77560-001 purchase example: New CPU Cooling Fan For HP Pavilion Gaming 15-EC L77560-001 15-ec0001ne 15-ec0045AX 15-ec0002ng TPN-....

As someone who heavily relies on my laptop, I'm worried if the L77560-001 fan from AliExpress will provide the same cooling performance as the original one. Can you verify if it's a suitable replacement? Additionally, could you confirm if it can be shipped to India?

Well, my personal -admittedly anecdotal experience with AliExpress purchases, has been overwhelmingly positive.

 

I have given you the relevant part number (L77560-001), you'll have to do some online searching/digging in your country what you can or cannot get shipped to you.

Thank you for the information. One more thing, can I trust the fan from the link you provided? Does it offer sufficient cooling like the original fan? I ask because I rely heavily on my laptop and I don't want to buy a low quality fan which compromises proper cooling.
