Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm not really sure what community to be asking or even if I should be asking a community in-general.

 

I'm looking to buy a workstation laptop from HP or any other credible source for engineering school. It would need to have a processor with >=4 cores, a graphics card of sorts (even an MXnnn would probably suffice), >=12GB memory, and a reasonable amount of storage. The problem I'm having is that there are many laptops that HP offers that have these features, but most of them have extra features that would be put to waste i.e. touch-screen, 4K resolution. Does anybody have any recommendations that would be good for me?

HP Workstation machines are in groups, each group is a series. Each series has many different models/products with many different options/configurations.  If you wish to have a machine which is closer to your choice you can order a CTO (Configure To Order) machine. But in many cases, you still have to buy options which are not your choice. Please try
