COMPAQ nc6220
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

i i have a COMPAQ nc6220 laptop  and install windows 10 . 32 bit works fine so far. but don't have .all update for it. i miss the video controller update and the smsc Fast infrared driver update where can i get this update. for windows 10. or is there another opsion to fix this.thanks for the help

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, the graphics adapter is not supported in W8.1 or W10.

 

The Vista graphics driver only worked through W8.

 

There's no fix for the SMSC infrared driver either.

 

If you don't use it, you can disable it in the BIOS.

 

That's what I did on my nc6400 and HP 6910p notebooks.

when i play youtube video. its not really fast play. how do I fix that. can there also be a faster video card in it  if so which one

Since there is no graphics driver, graphics acceleration is disabled.

 

That is why anything like videos and games won't work right.

 

The GPU is an integral part of the motherboard (soldered to it), and cannot be upgraded.

 

Your only option is to roll back to W7 if you want everything to work correctly.
