Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP parts web storefront is unhelpful in this matter.  Finding a phone number for sales was a challenge and that resulted in being told I needed to e-mail the parts department.  Going on an hour now trying to find a battery for a product that is 2 years old.  Not a lot of confidence in them at this point.  So any help here to a correct battery is greatly appreciated.

pp. 33-35 for "how to"

 

HP no longer carries it in the Parts Store. Not unusual. They usually sell out the initial production run of extra batteries so after a year or so you have to go into the secondary market.

 

This is not a Dell battery the seller has just made an error. This is the right battery:
