Please check its serial number at its back. For the serial number the typical format is to have the 4th, 5th, and 6th characters to reference when the product was built.  The first character is the year date (Y) and the next two (WW), the week in that year it was made.

CCSYWWZZZZ

For example: 703 means year 2017, week 03  means week 3 of January 2017.

Regards.

Welcome to the HP Support Community @TEX1966

Look at your serial number. CCSYWWZZZZ

This is how you decrypt it:

  • The first two characters are the Country Code.
  • The third character is the code of the Supply Site.
  • The next three characters are the date of manufacture, the first digit is for the Year the next two for the calendar Week.
  • The last four characters are a sequential ID on that particular week.
