It curently has 4GB of RAM in one slot. It has 2 slots, you can upgrade to
- 8GB (2 x 4GB) using same part as existing RAM # 862397-855
- 12GB (4GB + 8GB), keep old RAM and add 8GB part # 862398-855
- 16GB (2 x 8GB) using part # 862398-855
You can buy RAM from HP using part # above or from online stores
Warning : This work is for Authorized Service Provider parts only. Doing it yourself may void warranty if something went wrong due to this upgrade.
