Hi!

Does anyone know how I can get my notebook pen to be replaced? I believe it was stolen from one of my personal belongings area here at University. I'm worried that if I buy a pen at Walmart- it won't be compatible.

I am sorry that happened to you.

Interestingly, because pens are not all compatible with every device, they are lousy choices for thieves.

You are right to have asked the question about "which pen is compatible".

Find a Stylus for your computer

First, find the computer's exact Model name:

HP Notebook PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

Active Stylus - Compatibility Document

Search the document for a compatible stylus:

:Arrow_Right:  HP PCs - Touchscreen Compatibility with Pen and Stylus

  • If there is an HP Active Stylus available for your model, it should be included in the document.
  • Pen(s) compatible with your computer are marked with an “X” to the right of your computer model, in the column(s) under the Pen name / description(s).
  • Additional information can sometimes be found in Advisory Documents for your computer.
  • The document is updated as new information becomes available.
