I lost my charger/cable for my HP Pavilion laptop. On the back of my laptop:

Input: 19.5Vdc/2.31A 

S/N [Personal Information Removed]

Model 15-au123cl

I have been searching and have found out that these inputs are different sizes and with loosing my charger/cable how do I purchase the correct charger/cable?

Hi:

 

According to the parts list for your notebook, the charger you need has part # 854054-002 -- AC ADAPTER 45W SMART NPFC 3PIN, CHICONY

 

I suggest buying a genuine used but tested and working charger on eBay.

 

The used ones normally come with the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the power adapter.

 

Otherwise, you have to buy the charger and power cord separately.
