While gaming or using any softwares which needs my NVIDIA GPU usage, the laptop starts lagging unless I plug in my charger and I thought this is because the GPU uses external power from the AC Adapter and I always keep my charger plugged in while using those applications.
But sometime back I came across this issue, after using continuously for 2-3 hours, the laptops starts buzzing loudly with screen flickering with it, it stops when I remove my charger or after about 1-2 minutes if left unattended.
So, this became usual and today the samething happened and suddenly my laptop switched off in the process. Now, it is not turning ON without the charger plugged in. It works normally with the charger plugged in but shuts off as soon as I plug out the charger.
I used the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Tool to check if my battery is working fine and the battery test passed. I did the test for battery under both System Tests and Component Tests tabs and it passed both the times.
What is this issue with my laptop if the battery is working fine? And why does it start flickering suddenly? Please help ASAP.
This is the test log results :

I'm attaching the screenshot of the diagnostics tool for reference.

Hey,
Yes, I went through a few posts on the forum previously before posting this thread and updated my BIOS to this version already, but it did not help. I still have the save problem. It instantly shuts off as soon as I unplug the charger.
