Microsoft Windows 11

Since last week(nothing changed in my configuration), when I play games suddenly gpu usage drop down to 30% and I experience fps crash and instability. The week before I played games without any problems.

So for example I start playing, everthing is fine and then suddenly fps drops. I strongly suspect of the AC adapter because if I detach and attach it again, I get back my performance but just for a couple of minutes. Just like the AC adapter is not providing enough power.

Just to underline it, it's not a problem of temperature since the temperature is good in the range of 60 C° to 80 C° for both.

CPU and GPU.

Till now I tried to:

Uninstall and reinstall graphic drivers

Update windows 11

Uninstall the game and install it again

Test other games (same issue)

Play with power options from both Win11 and Nvidia control panel

Change cable of the AC adapter, the three-core cable part.

I didn't try a Win11 freshstart for now.

After all this tries as I said before I fear a hardware problem, hopefully from the AC adapter.

What do you think guys? Anything else I could try?

Thank you for your help
