I recently installed a m.2 nvme. I am unable to get the computer to boot using the nvme. Could I get a possible walkthrough for the bios menu, not much instructions out there for the laptop.
I moved the SSD to the top of the list in the 'OS Boot Manager' I also have the legacy boot enabled and secure boot disabled.
The SSD comes up in the OS Boot Manager and the Legacy boot OS Boot Manager, but I do not see it under the Intel rapid storage technology. How am I supposed to use it as a boot drive?
Is it a Samsung EVO 980 Pro m.2 nvme ssd 1 TB. My plan is to use this for the boot dirve and use the HDD for storage.
Thank you.
EDIT/FIX: I fixed it by unplugging the HDD and it automatically booted up on the SSD. I then plugged in the HDD and it booted up on the SSD. I was able to format the HDD.

You need to boot from a USB drive where you downloaded Windows 10, then install Windows 10 on your new drive.

I'm assuming you are trying to load a new install of W10 on your NVME drive? If so then following the above directions will get you there. You have to creat a USB installer disk to write the OS to the drive, set partitions and make it bootable.
edit- you added another post while I was typing my reply with more info. The cloning software should have tools to make the new drive bootable.
