HP 250 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

After a few hours of searching online and looking through manuals etc. I cannot find a specific piece of information that tells me if I can install an M.2 NVME, not the basic ones that are 500+mb/sec but the fast ones that have a speed of approx 3gb/sec read speed.

I know for a fact that the normal M.2 connectors have one notch and the NVME M.2 drives have two. Basically it's so it saves me buying one, then opening the laptop and finding that it is not compatible,

Would really appreciate the advice.

The HP 250 G6 series may or may not have M.2 slot depending on options/configuration/combination of your machine. Please carefully read pages 1 & 2 of the following manual and work this out: your machine does have or does not have M.2 slot.

In short, the series does NOT support NVMe SSD's.

Regards.
