I need some assistance figuring out how high and how fast an M.2 SSD my current machine can support. I also need to know whether or not it can support NVME M.2 SSDs as well. I'm looking to upgrade to an SSD that is large enough and long-lasting to last me the lifespan of this laptop. I believe you can see what make and model Laptop I'm using, but I don't know what my motherboard or CPU can handle. Info on these will be a big help.

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports NVMe SSD's.
The slot generation is PCIe 3.0.
A Gen 4.0 SSD will work, but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.
This table shows the maximum transfer speeds the various PCIe slot generations provide:

There are no programs that will tell you how large a capacity NVMe SSD your PC can support.
Theoretically, the sky's the limit as long as the drive is single sided.
The Crucial SSD report indicates that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB in storage capacity for your notebook.

I tried to find a service manual for your notebook, but none of the links I found work.
However, I did find this service teardown video:
