Hello,
I wish to update my laptop because it is very slow, even it has i5 processor and 8Gb of RAM.
I wanted to ask:
- what motherobard do I have and
- is my laptop capbable of handling this new SSD?

The motherboard is an HP product unique to your laptop. Here is the Service manual:
According to the Manual which covers both 17 inch and 15 inch models, only the 17 inch (yours is 15) can have both a 2.5 inch hard drive plus an M.2 SSD. So yours has no M.2 slot. Even on the 17 inch models you must remove the motherboard to get at the M.2 slot so it is not an easy thing.
The best thing you can do is to replace the hard drive with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD like an Evo 850 model.
