Recently I bought a new HP laptop (HP Envy x360 M6-AQ103DX) which I have purchased from an online store in India. The laptop model whcih I bought has Intel® Core™ i5-7200U , 12 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB 7200rpm HDD. My question is that can I replace the Hard disk with an internal SSD. And also is it possible that in this spectific model I can use both the HDD and a M.2 SSD together. Does this specific model has a M.2 slot onboard.

The Manual shows a slot for an M.2 in addition to the hard drive.
The best picture is on p. 39 of the Manual. The M.2 slot is shown on the right side as you have the rear cover removed with the screen hinges at the top. It is right above the battery and the hard drive is to the left of the battery. Hp only offers up to a 256 gig M.2 from the factory and it appears to be an NVME/PCIe type:
256-MB, M2.2280, solid-state drive supporting TLC for use on all computer models 847109-003
HP charges "only" $114 for the part which is actually a very fair price. The 256 gig would not be an absolute limit and theoretically you can install as big a drive as you can buy but we are seeing a lot of compatibility issues with people trying to install M.2 disks not on the HP parts list. I have upgraded 2 HP laptops using M.2 disks bought from the Parts Store with no issues.

My laptop came with only 1 storage device i.e. the 1TB HDD only and not with the 256 GB SSD as I have specifically ordered with those specs only. Then will this specific model work with both the 1TB HDD and M.2 SSD at the same time. As I don't know whether or not this specific laptop has that slot or whether it will support ot not.
Some models of this HP Envy x360 M6 are there with only 256 gig SSD , some with only 1 TB HDD and some with both the HDD and SDD but the model which I am having has only the 1 TB HDD. Hope you understand that !

And I hope I can explain that all of them have the same motherboard so the slots for both are present. Whether you buy it with HDD, SSD or HDD + SSD is an option and the factory makes it to order on an assembly line.
If that is hard to understand then perhaps an upgrade is not something you should try to do and just use it as HP sold it to you. Can't go wrong that way.
