Another Queston:

According to that page, I can only use the capacities of 128, 256, 512? Or I can use 1 TB

HP Recommended

You should be able to use a 1 TB SSD if you want.

The drive capacities listed in the service manual are normally just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

Hello Again,

What type of ssd key my mother board will support?

B or M or B&M?

HP Recommended

Hi:

You can only use a NVMe SSD.

The one with one notch.

SATA SSD's have two notches, but they would still fit in your notebook's M.2 slot.

However, since the service manual makes no mention of SATA SSD's being supported a SATA SSD may not work.

Hello again

i searched in google and find out B and M keys have one notch
B have 6,5 pins on the left side of socket
M have 5,4 pins on the right side of socket
and my laptop have 5,4 pins on the left side

can i use the M key type ssds like samsung 980 upside down ?
because ssd notch on the right side but my laptop is on the left side

Hi:

Any NVMe SSD should fit just fine in your notebook's M.2 slot.
