I want to buy a M.2 ssd for my hp envy k 203 tx laptop. Does it have a m.2 port. Can i buy samsung evo 860 m.2 for my laptop? Please send me the buying links if possible.
Also if I install that m.2 ssd in that laptop, can I use my previous 1tb hard drive as d, e and f partitions?

Yes it has, M.2 2280 SATA SSD.

You can migrate operating system and other system partitions to M.2 SSD using macrium reflect free software / clean install Windows 10 in SSD, take out the HDD and format it (delete windows boot partition files), then install M.2 SSD and hard drive again.
Samsung 850 Evo M.2 SSD is reported to be higher successful in compatibility .

Hi,
Yes your PC has an M2 port and supports M2 SATA3 SSD such as the 860 evo or different brands such as Crucial
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for//envy-15-k203tx
On page 67 of service manual you can see the steps to get to the slot. It is not too simple as you need to remove the system board
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04582332
So the slot is on bottom side of motherboard. You can also take a look at these videos while dismantling the PC

You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD and you can keep the old drive for data. You will be able to use the partitions on the old drive. I would remove the Windows partition.
Let me know if you need further help,

As @visruth mentioned the 860 has had some compatibility issues with HP notebooks and the 850 has had much less, so I would go with an 850.
Hope it helps,
David

Have not heard much feedback about the latest M.2 SATA SSD offering from Samsung.
This thing about compatibility is about the the SSD controller. 860 Evo has upgraded controllers and we have no idea how that is working for HP notebooks unless there are significant number of success reports here.
