Hello!
I ordered the one without the M.2 SSD and just the standard hard drive, in researching I have found mixed answers and I don't want to order t
he wrong item.
I would now like to purchase one to install, however, I am unsure of which one to get. SATA-III or NVMe?
Also, is there anything special I need to do to the BIOS to get it running?
Thank you very much in advance!

Hi:
If you look at chapter 3, page 28, item 15 of the service manual below, it shows the supported M.2 SSD's being SATA III.

There is no specific manual for the 15-cc014ur model.
The manual covers the entire 15-cc### model series.
If you look at the Crucial SSD report, they list some compatible M.2 SSD's for your model.

That is the best I can do for you.

You're very welcome.
You won't find any folks like that here.
I suggest you contact HP technical support in Russia, or the Ukraine and see if they can help.

Also note that the crucial link I posted has a Russian site. Just change the country flag at the top right.
If you get one of their M.2 SSD's they guarantee compatibility, so there is no risk.
