Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand, we are upgrading and if there's one thing I love doing to a device/vehicle after I purchase it, its upgrading, among others 😉

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

  • Have you checked the maintenance and service guide for these details?

If not, look no further, here's all the details you need:

(The below list contains the parts tested and approved by HP for your device)

● 512-GB, 2280 M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive with triple-level cell (TLC)

● 256-GB, 2280 M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive with TLC

● 128-GB, 2280 M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive with TLC

● 256-GB, 2280 M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive

● 128-GB, 2280 M.2 SATA-3 solid-state drive

And about the PCIe supported SSD:

  • For use only on computer models with model numbers 15-cc1xx and 15-cc6xx:
    • 512-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive 933706-004
    • 256-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive 933705-005

More details, found here: https://hp.care/2BDMvy6
(Go Crazy with the MODs, do what you love to your PC is what I say as a upgrade/custom enthusiast, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, that the upgradeable parts listed above for your ease, will be at your own discretion).

Keep me posted,

For I shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,

And your device is up and running again,

that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.

Would you please confirm if we can install additional SSD on HP CC-134TX, as you mentioned and if yes what SSD brand you got. It would be great if you can provide link/picture
