My device is hp-da1xxx. Core i3 8th 

Is that m.2 ssd supported?

Hi:

 

Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

Yes. This is the Manual:

This is what it looks like with rear cover removed:

 

M.2 slot circled in redM.2 slot circled in red

 

You can install either a SATA or NVME M.2 SSD.
