HP ProBook 450 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have two HP Probook 450 G4s, one has a M2 SSD and the other a M2 LTE card. Now I have the M2 SSD drive in the slot on the other laptop, where previously the LTE card was in it which I have removed, put in it.

My computer where the M2 SDD should run has the product number Y8A27EA # ACQ.

The M2 SSD is neither visible in the BIOS nor under Win 10 nor in the disk management.

What am I doing wrong in the BIOS I have already disabled Fast Boot and also disabled Secure Boot.

BIOS up-date and driver everything up to date.

The SSD has the HP No. 905799-001 DC1730.

Someone else will likely mention that using the LTE card's slot for a hard drive is not officially supported. With that said, do you have another hard drive already attached to this laptop? If so, try temporarily disconnecting it, then checking if the M2 SSD can then be seen. If it can, (assuming you're going to freshly install an OS?) carry on with the installation, then once complete, reconnect the disconnected hard drive again.

Hello Chris

No, that did not work either. Only the M2 SSD and Win10 instalieren was unsuccessful the SSD was not recognized.

I gave up now and installed a normal SSD.

Thank you for your help
