Product: HP 15.6" HD Laptop, Intel Core i3-8145U, 8GB SDRAM, 1TB HDD, Ghost Silver, 15-dw0037wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this Laptop over a year ago,  now I want to make it run faster and smoother. I'm replacing the weak 8g Ram with 2 x 16 sticks, beyond that I saw mention of a possible M2 socket. Anybody know if I can add SSD to this particular laptop?

Yes, you can add M.2 NVMe SSD to your machine using

                  https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/crucial-p2-ssd

           Or similar from reputable vendors.
           One example (compatible drive, can use smaller/larger capacity)
