Your specific laptop has support for SATA NAND 2.5"/7mm SSD products, but not for M.2 SSD products.
This is the specification document for your laptop. It shows a 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA is installed.

There are some 15-bs100 model laptops that do have M.2 SSD support, but unfortunately, not yours.
I see that in the Maintenance & service guide. Those that do, have support for M.2 SATA 2280 , not PCIe NVME.

If you purchase an M.2 SSD for your laptop there will be no slot to put it in.
The M.2 slot that is in your laptop is for the WIFI module.

Unfortunately, the image is not very clear.
I do not see an M.2 slot in the image.
That would appear to verify that what the specification document that I provided states is accurate.
