Hi,

 

I have HP Envy 15-ae101nm laptop and I wanted to add SSD because I have 1TB HDD. I have noticed that there is a M2 slot so I tried to add Samsung 970 EVO 250GB but when I install it laptop won't even turn on.  So I wanted to know whitch SSDs are compatible with my laptop or maybe this slot is not even ment to be used for SSD.

The compatible solid state drive's are : 

 

256 GB solid-state drive, M.2, TLC 812708-001 128 GB, 2280 M.2 829985-001
