Hello. I am an engineer at the authorized service center. I am performing a warranty repair. Replacing the board.
Upon startup, a message appears in the top-left corner of the display: "System is booting in manufacturing program mode... (number of reboots remaining before lockout)." As I understand it, this is because the serial number and device data have not been programmed into the new board. Could a technical specialist please advise on how this can be done and what tools are required?

Model: HP ProBook 460 G11. Could you tell me if this can only be done using the DMI Tool? And where can I download it?

HP Recommended

Yes the DMI tool is needed, it can be downloaded from HP but you need to have a authorized HP service access to download.

We are an authorized service center. However, our regional manager is referring us to support, so we have to write directly to you.

Do you have access to HP GCSN ? You can download everything you need from there.

No, we do not have access to HP GCSN. How can we obtain it?

HP Recommended

Only HP authorized service centers have access to HP GCSN if you don't have access, then you are not HP authorised.
