Common problems for Battery

Hi. At our office we mainly have HP Desktops compatible with the HP Ultraslim docking. However, we have a few laptops that are NOT compatible with the HP Ultraslim, but instead USB-C compatible. This is creating a huge issue where it's impossible to create "universal docking stations" for all users. Also, for the future, I would think that USB-C will be the default docking solution for more and more products.

Would it in any way be possible to use the HP Ultraslim docking, but add an option to connect via USB-C instead?
