Hello , my laptop has been stolen and I need to verify the CT number of the original AC adapter. I have the invoice and the box with the serial number of my HP envy. Are support online for this ? Other support ?

Part numbers for the compatible adapters are easy to come by using the appropriate Maintenance & Service Guide, but CT numbers, not so much.

If your notebook has been stolen, for what purpose do you need this information?

Usually, when a notebook has been stolen and one does not have Intel LoJack or ESET theft protection enabled, they are gone forever.

His answer is useless and pessimistic, but  any way, thank you for your time, I replied.

I saw a publication on the internet sales and buy site with photo of the AC adapter and the CT number. All other especifications are igual.

I want to catch the thief or the one who buys stolen HPs.

I do not attack anyone, just think of your answer as you think of my question but not answering my question in the forum.

You are very different.

Go to a police station and fill out a theft report.
