Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) drive installed on the PC.
And your computer support for 16384 MB of DDR4 2666 MHz system memory in the following conƭgurations.
