Pavilion 15-cs0085cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've searched and cannot find information on how much RAM my notebook can support.  It currently has 12GB.  I'd like to know the max configurable.

You're very welcome.

I was surprised that it didn't support 2 x 16 GB.

Most HP notebooks with the Intel 8th gen core processors that have two memory slots do support 32 GB of memory.

If you want to experiment, buy a 16 GB chip, remove the 4 GB chip and see the notebook works with 24 GB of memory.

If it does, then you can remove the 8 GB chip and get another 16 GB chip.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

2 x 8 GB of memory is supported.

Thanks very much.  Assume this is a motherboard limitation, right?
