Can anybody tell me what is the max ram memory I can install to my old G7?
According to HP Support Assistant my motherboard is 184C 57.35.
I managed to find this article but it can't be right (max. 6 GB) because I already have 8 GB.

Memory is Micron Technology 1600MHZ . So the question is that can I install 2 of these?

You're very welcome.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1 (2 x 4 GB is the max).

Run this free utility that I zipped up and attached below to see what voltage memory is in your PC now.
Close out of the summary window.
On the left side of the program window, click to expand the Memory section.
Click on one of your notebook's memory modules.
On the right side of the report window, under the Module characteristics section, the last item listed (Module nominal voltage)...if it reports 1.5V, 1.35V, you can use 1.35V memory.
If it only reports 1.5V, you will need to use 1.5V memory (DDR3-12800), not DDR3L.

Hi:
What is the full model number or product number of your notebook?
If you don't know, use this guide to find that info...
