Hi, where can I find the indication of the maximum RAM supported by my laptop (HP HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-ew0xxx)? From the information I got from the BIOS I know that there are two slots with 8GB of RAM each (16GB total). Can I upgrade to 32 or 24GB of RAM?
Thank you

HP has produced and brought to market more than a thousand different models of notebooks and desktop PCs over the years. It is difficult to help you if we don't know which specific model you own.
"HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-ew0xxx" is the generic model identification. With the product number, more information can be found.
Method #1: If the notebook will boot into Windows, you can retrieve your Product Number by pressing Fn + Esc key.
That is the identification that we need.
The Maintenance & Service guide for your model series says the maximum installed memory is 16GB

thanks for the reply, I found in the product specifications on the HP website that the maximum RAM supported is 16GB, but in another post (this: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Max-ram-support/m-p/8920539)th... said that that indication refers to the maximum RAM tested by HP, not the one actually supported by the motherboard. On my laptop the maximum is 64GB. I was thinking of buying 32GB to replace a bank of 8 to have 40GB. It might work?
Thanks a lot

Yes.
installing a pair of guaranteed compatible 32GB memory modules will give you 64GB installed memory.
