What is the maximum amount of RAM I can install in my HP Laptop 15-gw0023od?  On-line Product Specification doesn't tell me.

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

 

Your HP - Compaq HP 15-gw0023od (3M201UA) can be fitted with up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks.

 

You could use DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz RAM, but it will down throttle to 2400 MHz.

 

Best RAM performance is achieved using identical and matching RAM modules (same brand, model and capacity).
