Hello

I wish to increase my laptop storage either with 512GB SSD(/1TB SSD or 512GB SSD 2.5 SATA/1TB 2.5 SATA (Currently have 256GB SSD with OS running on SSD, and 1TB HDD) but i confuse on how much my laptop can afford, can someone tell me what is the max amount of storage my laptop can accept?

Hi,

There is no limit to the amount of storage you can have.

So you can insert a 2TB M2 SSD (or more) and you can insert a 2TB 2,5" SSD without problem.

If you insert a 2.5 " HDD (not SSD) the limit is 2TB because of the thickness of the drive. 2TB HDD is thicker than 7mm.

The service manual only mentions the drives the computer can be bought with.

Hope it helps,

David
