OMEN by HP 15-dc1093tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have Hp Omen 15 dc1093tx (2019) which I have been using for the last 3 years, but recently I want to upgrade some of the ram and SSD for better workflow. My question is what is the max SSD size (512GB/1TB/2TB) this product support? and which gen SSD will be preferable for optimal performance, please suggest some of them if possible.

Thank You in advance.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

OMEN by HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

Your notebook has two memory slots and can support 2 x 16 GB of memory.

According to the manual, HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in capacity.

If you wanted to install a 2 TB NVMe SSD, I don't see any reason why a 2 TB NVMe SSD would not work.

Your notebook's M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.

Recommended 16 GB memory chips:

Crucial 16GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA266 | Crucial IN

Recommended NVMe SSD's:

Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro)

Western Digital Blue SN570.
