That probably means that HP did not test the model series with 16 GB memory chips.
The Crucial memory report for the model indicates it will support 2 x 32 GB of memory (64 GB).

Hi:
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
If you want to see if your notebook will support more than 16 GB of memory, you can run this command:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. After the command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

According to service manual :-
Two memory slots supporting up to 16 GB of RAM
DDR4-3200
Supports the following configurations:
● 16 GB (8 GB × 2)
● 12 GB (8 GB + 4 GB)
● 8 GB (8 GB × 1 or 4 GB × 2)
But i'm getting this number 33554432, using this command in cmd "wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx",
And 33554432 means 32GB that means service manual is wrong?
