I have actually 128GB M.2 SSD on my computer right now and I want to upgrade to a higher M.2 SSD capacity but I don't know what is the maximum capacities that this model can be installed?

Chapter 1 has the M.2 drive capacities HP offered in the model series.

 

According to the manual you can certainly go as high as 512 GB and probably you can go to a 1 TB size if you wanted to.

If the model M.2 SSD you have is a SATA one, the manual indicates you can install a faster NVMe SSD in the 15-bp1xx model series.
