I have a Hp Laptop (Pentium, By default comes with a 4GB RAM) The System Model is HP 250 G2 NoteBook PC

Can this pc be upgradable to 16GB - 32 GB RAM?

Hi:

 

A 16 GB memory module won't work right from the get-go.

 

Let's say your notebook has the best Pentium processor available...the N3520.

 

Below is the link to the Intel specs for that processor.

 

As you can see from the processor specs, the max memory it can handle is 8 GB.

Hi:

 

Your model having a Pentium processor, only has one memory slot.

 

The max memory is 8 GB per slot.

 

See page 8 of the quickspecs link below for the memory upgrade info.

Would anything go wrong if i purchase one 16 GB RAM slot and use it instead? Would the computer run into a coma along the line?
