Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
You can install up to 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook.
DDR4-2666 memory will work fine, but only at the DDR2400 speed, because that is the fastest speed your notebook's processor can run the memory at.

Hi,
Thanks for service manual, so 2x 8GB is the maximum regarding to HP manual. But the conclusion is if I go to Command Prompt and type ''wmic memphysical get maxcapacity'' is showing me 32GB RAM max capacity for this laptop. My question is if this 2x 8GB is for specific reasons, or HP never tested this laptops with 32GB of RAM or they not recommending or there is something else behind like processor, motherboard, BIOS limitation to not accept more than 16GB etc??? This laptop is equipped with 8th gen i7 processor and 64 bit Windows 10 so I don't see any reasons why would not support more than 16GB RAM memory. But I may be wrong. I'm planning to upgrade for 2x 8GB for at the moment to get 16GB in total, if possible later on I would like to go for configuration 1x 8GB +1x 16GB to get 24GB in total, or even for 2x 16GB to get 32GB in total if possible. Probably the easiest way to find out is to install 2x 16GB RAM or configuration of 1x8GB and 1x 16GB and see if is recognised, but I can't risk to buy 2x 16GB and find out it does not work, if that make sense. Thanks

You're very welcome.
Based on the additional information you posted, I don't see any reason why your PC couldn't run 2 x 16 GB of memory either, but I can only go by what HP indicates in the service manual unless I personally know otherwise.
What I would do if I were you, would be to buy one 16 GB memory chip, add it to the existing one, and if the PC boots up, runs find and reports the correct amount of memory, then the second 16 GB chip should work fine as well.
The Crucial memory report indicates your PC's model series can run 2 x 16 GB of memory--that makes me feel better about experimenting, so I don't think I would waste money on buying an 8 GB chip, only to have to discard it later.
