Product: Omen by HP 15-ce018dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I want to find out the maximum RAM I can install on my HP Omen 15-ce018dx . The Maintenance and Service Guide states:
Memory
Support for 16384 MB of DDR4 2666 MHz system memory in the following configurations:
16384 MB (8192 MB × 2)
12288 MB (8192 MB × 1 + 4096 MB × 1)
8192 MB (8192 MB × 1)
However the HP Operating System Check indicates that the maximum RAM I can install is 32GB:
I would like to install 32GB, but I don't know if the system can take it. Can someone please let me know? Thanks.

You can try at your own risk. The manual says 16GB max, also Crucial
