That looks OK and is 1Rx8 rank which matches the HP part number.

Crucial has a good return policy if something goes wrong.
If you currently have 4gb memory, it is probably 1Rx16 and it may not work a single 8gb that is rank 1Rx8 so you should get a pair of the 8gb .
It is not a good idea to mix 1Rx8, 2Rx8 or 1Rx16 ranked memory on the same system.

I apologize
Looking at the users manual there could be a problem depending on how many slots your system has
Two SODIMM memory module slots, non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable (Core processors) Supports up to 16 GB of system memory DDR4-2400 dual channel support (8th generation Core processors) DDR4-2133 dual channel support (7th generation Core processors) Supports the following conƭgurations ● 16 GB (8 GB × 2) ● 12 GB (8 GB × 1 + 4 GB × 1) ● 8 GB (8 GB × 1 or 4 GB × 2) ● 4 GB (4 GB × 1) One SODIMM memory module slot, non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable (Pentium and Celeron processors) DDR4-2400 dual channel support Supports the following conƭgurations ● 8 GB (8 GB × 1) ● 4 GB (4 GB × 1) |
What CPU do you have?
Also, try running this app
Bring up the window 'cmd' prompt and enter the first line to set what memory you have. The second line may give the maximum memory possible based on the chipset. The number of memory sockets limit what can be added.
wmic memorychip get devicelocator, capacity, speed, MemoryType, formfactor, partnumber, manufacturer |
wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx, MemoryDevices |
The memory capacity is limited by the number of slots. If you have a Celeron CPU then one of the slots does not have a socket and wmic may show '2' for MemoryDevices but only one can be used. Example below shows 8 slots
It is possible that your system may be able to hold 64gb
https://memory-up.com/HP_15s%20du_15s-du1065tu/BD16G2666MQN25
At the time it was designed possibly 32gb memory was not available for testing,
I have found that older systems frequently can use more memory than the specification originally listed.
Although memory-up lists 64gb as possible, I see them only offering 16gb.
How much memory do you currently have? How much do you need?

Thanks for the Response. Please find the requested Details -
What CPU do you have? --> Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz 2.11 GHz
How much memory do you currently have? --> 4 GB
How much do you need? --> Want to know the maximum memory Capacity till where can I extend Memory
Although memory-up lists 64gb as possible, I see them only offering 16GB --> Max Memory is 16 or 64GB?
Can I use a different brand of RAM in another available Slot? Will there be any compatibility Issues?
Please suggest.

Page 18 of the users manuals lists the following memory. Only 4 and 8 gb are listed, probably because that was available during the design and testing of the laptop motherboard.
(8) Memory modules (DDR4-2400) 8 GB 937236-855 4 GB L10598-855 |
An upgrade from 4 to 16 is a really good jump in performance. In my honest opinion 16gb of memory on a laptop with an Intel I5-10210U CPU is ideal I recommend you stick with the 937236-885 type memory which is organized as rank "1Rx8"
Any of these listed on eBay will work
or the ddr4 2x8gb 2666 at AliExpress
DDR4 8GB 2666MHZ Memory PC4-21300 1.2v 1Rx8 get two of them.

Thanks for your reply.
I have tried to find the suggested 8 GB 937236-855 but could not find it in the Indian Online Market. Currently, the Installed RAM is of Ramaxel Technology RMSA3310NA86H9F-2666 but the same is unavailable. I have found one RAM of Crucial Brand CB8GS2666 Crucial Basics 8GB 2666Mhz CL19 SODIMM. Please Suggest whether it will be best for my Laptop or if there will be any Compatibility Issues.
