Maximum RAM capacity Envy x360

Hello.

Does HP ENVY x360 15-eu0004ua  (with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U ) supports an upgrade to 32 GB of RAM?

Maximum RAM I can brought with is 16 GB. Laptop contains 2 x 8GB. Does it support 2 x 16GB = 32 GB RAM?

Hi:

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the max memory is 2 x 8 GB

But it should support 2 x 16 GB.

You can do this to see how much memory your notebook can support...

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

Yes, I know about possibility to check max RAM capacity via CMD, but I'd like to know for sure before ordering since can't physically access device before ordering. Confuses that in spec specified max ram 16 gb....  Meanwhile I see people says about other modifications of Envy x360 about possibility to install 32 gb..

Unfortunately, I can only go by what the manual indicates and the what the processor specs indicate.
